Bergiz Holding began its operations in the construction sector in 1975 with works undertaken as part of the Gaziantep Airport Project. In the following years, the company successfully completed designated sections of the Kirkuk–Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline and actively participated in infrastructure projects carried out in the Gaziantep–Araban region. By delivering all projects on time and in accordance with high quality standards since its establishment, Bergiz Holding quickly earned a reputation as a reliable and trusted company within the industry.

In 1994, following the restructuring of the family business, the company entered a formal institutionalization process, leading to the establishment of Bergiz Holding. As of 1995, the Holding adopted a growth strategy focused on infrastructure projects and developed expertise in dams, ponds, irrigation facilities, transmission tunnels, pipelines, highways, rural roads, and roadway construction.

With the early 2000s, Bergiz Holding further strengthened its position in the sector through highway construction and hot mix asphalt (HMA) applications, while also delivering significant tunnel construction projects.

In 2005, the Holding gained its first international experience in Northern Iraq. Despite operating under challenging and high-risk conditions, Bergiz Holding continued its activities without interruption and successfully completed numerous infrastructure and superstructure projects in the region. This experience played a key role in establishing the Holding as a reliable brand in international markets.

In 2008, all group companies were consolidated under the Bergiz Holding umbrella, forming a more integrated, robust, and efficient organizational structure.

By 2013, Bergiz Holding was simultaneously executing 20 projects across Türkiye and providing employment to approximately 2,000 people. During this period, the company enhanced its machinery fleet and technical workforce, enabling it to deliver large-scale projects with both speed and quality.

As of 2019, Bergiz Holding’s project portfolio included:

• Over 500 kilometers of hot mix asphalt (HMA) paved roads,

• More than 30 kilometers of highway and transmission tunnels,

• Over 10 large-span bridges,

• Numerous dam and reservoir construction projects.

Today, with its strong engineering capabilities, experienced technical teams, extensive machinery fleet, and more than five decades of industry experience, Bergiz Holding continues to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and innovative projects both in Türkiye and internationally.
